AP® Psychology A & B comprise a yearlong, college-level course designed to prepare students for the Advanced Placement (AP) Psychology exam. The goal of this course is to explore the history of psychology and how psychological theories, treatment approaches, and concepts have evolved and progressed. Emphasis is placed on critical and evaluative thinking skills, essay-writing, analysis of psychological findings, and data interpretation. Students will demonstrate their understanding and acquisition of skills through written work, project- based activities, and practice exams. This course is aligned to the new AP Psychology framework introduced in 2014–15
